Did you know that the first official day of Winter is December 21st?  Well, I guess my mental calendar switches over to the Winter season a bit earlier.  So my Winter Bucket List with the Kiddos includes Christmas and all sorts of cold weather fun.  So here it is (in no particular order):

  1. Have a PJ Party and Watch Movies.
  2. Enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa.
  3. Go Sledding.
  4. Drive thru the Neighborhood looking at lights.
  5. Build a Snow Fort.
  6. Build a Snowman.
  7. Play Snow Ball (Hit snowballs off a tee).
  8. Put food coloring and water in spray bottles and go “paint” the snow.
  9. Try and make bubbles freeze.
  10. Watch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
  11. Bake some Christmas Cookies..
  12. Teach my daughter my secret Pumpkin Pie Recipe.
  13. Make a homemade Advent Calendar.
  14. Teach my kids the proper way to dunk grilled cheese sandwiches into tomato soup.
  15. Make a video tape of the family singing Christmas carols and send out to our family & friends.
  16. Read Christmas stories in front of the fire.
  17. Make snow angels.
  18. Make an ornament for the tree.
  19. Make and mail out homemade Christmas Cards.
  20. Build a Gingerbread House.

So there you go. Have some fun and enjoy the cold weather! Merry Christmas!
